Section 1 Construction Community Meeting

Last night, Metro’s Art Program opened the community meeting with an update on the station artwork designs and the community engagement activities this year.

Following the art update, the Purple Line Extension Community Relations team shared our accomplishments from the last 3 months. The Maintenance of Way Facility is complete, the TBMs have started tunneling west, the Wilshire/Fairfax Station is being sealed in HDPE, and station construction at Wilshire/La Cienega has started.

In the midst all this, we’re also conducting our last round of station naming outreach. We’ve compiled the top 5 responses from the community and now is your last time to submit any comments or feedback you may have on the station names. See the top 5 responses below.
